Yokote Plaza Hotel is located directly next to the JR Station and very close to local restaurants. A fantastic public library is also across the street. The staff is generally very friendly and helpful.

Good value overall. Decent location even if parking next to the hotel can be a bit complicated (multi-level parking with few available spots).

The room was just the right size for one person! The heat was on before I even got to the room which was a huge plus after walking to the hotel in the snow! The tub was the perfect size for a nice bath :)

The hotel is next to Yokote station, so we only had to wheel our luggage for around 5 minutes between the train station and the hotel. The location of this hotel is also good if you are intending to visit the Yokote Kamakura Festival in February. The toilet looks renovated, and appears to be newer than the room. This hotel offers complimentary use of the onsen at yuuyuu plaza, which is located in the nearby partner hotel (around 5 minutes walk down a straight path outdoors in the snow).

Hotel was clean and staff friendly. The onsen at the related hotel down the street was nice, but in hotel would be better. Beds and pillows in Japan are harder than we are used to, so not totally comfortable for us, but in the end we did not mind.
